Amazing breakfast with the Prof.

Breakfast with Prof Soborno Isaac Bari was a roaring success. Our school hall was graced by two neighbouring schools’ learners, as well as some of our own, as we eagerly waited to join the breakfast via livestream.

Our Nyukani leaders, Chairperson Dr Tirhani Mabunda, Executive Director Mr Vusi Sindane, Principal, Mr Jainos Ticharwa and Deputy Principal Ms Mapula Ledwaba and Sandile Mabuza, Head boy and our head girl Ntamele Makondo experienced literally breaking bread and bumping elbows with the enigmatic young professor. With his beaming smile and trademark red bow tie, Soborno was equally eager to rub shoulders with young learners in South Africa.

Thanks to technology, the rest of the world also had a front row view of the breakfast from their screens, with opportunity to call or text in questions. It was only a day, however our lives have been positively impacted by this modern-day Einstein who has so much wisdom and charm, it’s almost as if he’s forever been a part of our lives.
