At the end of every year, the entire school, learners as well as educators, elect a Learner Executive (Lexco) committee comprising of various learners to guide and represent the learners in terms of leadership, cultural and extra-curricular activities. The Lexco also help their fellow learners understand the running of the school, identify learners’ needs and also help the school in maintaining discipline and unity. The learners elected each year head up a committee that represents a discipline close to their heart, and they are expected to propagate and fight for the cause of their selected committee.

Many learners who are active in student leadership during their school days grow up to be effective leaders in various places in society.

The Lexco selected for 2021, is headed by a Head Boy and Head Girl, who together with educator, supervise the rest of the Lexco team by means of Committees. Our Head Boy is Deshy Shibambu, with Ntsako Mahlaule being Head Girl. The Media Committee is headed by Xami Makhubele, Entrepreneurship headed by Shiluba Mathye. Kuhlula Mambane is head of Current Affairs Committee, and Malwandla Chauke is head of Social Awareness Committee. The Spirit Committee is headed by Ntsakiso Tsebe, and Tiyani Mabunda is head of the Environmental Sustainability. The Inter-house Sports Committee leader is Phumzile Mulungwa, Cultural Diversity headed by Amukelani Mawila, with Nhlayiseko Mathonsi heading the Inter-house Cultural committee. Finally, to capture all these committees and their events, is the Photography and Design Team headed by Tiyani Nokeri and Khanyisa Maluleke.
