The class was doing a formal project entitled: “Discuss the steps followed in the treatment of dam or river water for human consumption”. The school decided to take them to the Giyani Water Treatment Plant to help them complete this project with practical and concrete examples.

The technicians from the water works, who showed the learners around, divided the learners into two groups and then went through each step involved in the water treatment process patiently and articulately. Their passion for their work highly motivated our learners.

The questions asked by our learners were relevant and assisted them in the completion of their project. Our learners showed a high degree of discipline and interest.
