MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATION STAFF

Nyukani Education Centre’s administration is manned by two managers; one each for administration and finance, supported by the administration staff, including revenue clerks, receptionists. 

ADMISSION POLICY & REQUIREMENTS

Nyukani Education Centre’s admission policy and requirements are as follows:

ENTRY/EXIT AGE REQUIREMENTS:

Children who are four (4) years old turning five (5) by 30 June in the year of enrolment are eligible for admission.

ENTRY/EXIT AGE REQUIREMENTS:

Children who are five (5) years old turning six (6) by 30 June in the year of enrolment are eligible for admission.

ENTRY/EXIT AGE REQUIREMENTS:

Learners must exit Grade 12 by the age of 19 years, before they turn 20 years.

  • A non-refundable registration fee of R500-00 is payable for admission.
  • Entry tests may be administered at the school’s discretion for admission into certain grades.
  • The deadline for enrolment is 30 November the previous year

  • JUNIOR PRIMARY SCHOOL: Clean and properly fitting bottle green short or long pants worn with a white open-neck short-sleeve shirt or white long-sleeve shirt with a top button and bottle green school tie with gold stripe, bottle green socks with gold stripes and polished black leather shoes.  The shirts must have the school badge.
  • SENIOR PRIMARY & SECONDARY SCHOOL: Clean and properly fitting bottle green long trouser secured by a black leather belt with a traditional buckle worn with a white open-neck short-sleeve shirt or white long-sleeve shirt with a top button and bottle green school tie with gold stripe, bottle green socks with gold stripes and polished black leather shoes.  The shirts must have the school badge.
  • BOTH PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS: Bottle green school blazer, bottle green sleeveless pullover or bottle green long-sleeve school jersey with gold stripes, white sleeveless pullover or white long-sleeve school jersey with gold stripes and bottle green tracksuit with gold contrast.  The blazer, pullover and jersey must all have the school badge.

  • SECONDARY SCHOOL: Clean and properly fitting bottle green check school skirt with gold stripes worn with a white open-neck short-sleeve shirt or white long-sleeve shirt with a top button and bottle green school tie with gold stripe, bottle green socks with gold stripes and polished black school lace-up or bar shoes.  The shirts must have the school badge.

The school terms for the 2019 academic year is as follows:

TERM 1 :(7) 14 January 2019 – 20 March 2019
TERM 2 :(8) 10 April 2019 – 21 (25) June 2019
TERM 3 :(18) 22 July 2019 – 20 September 2019
TERM 4 :7 October 2019 – 4 (6) December 2019

NB: it is recommended that learners arrive at school by 07h10 so that they can report to their mentor classes for registration at 07h15. They should not arrive at school at 07h15.

  • Learners are required to be orderly congregated at the assembly point by 07h:20 on Mondays and Fridays, not to arrive at 07h:20.
  • Learners are required to be seated at their desks to start lessons at 07h:30, not to arrive at 07h:30.
